AUSTRA TREE
The Austra Tree, a significant symbol in Baltic culture, represents the universal connection between earth and the heavens, symbolizing life’s continual cycle of growth, balance, and renewal. Traditionally, it embodies the axis mundi—the world’s center—linking human life with cosmic order and fostering harmony. The tree’s roots stretch deep into the earth, while its branches reach upward, suggesting that true balance requires a connection between past, present, and future.
For individuals, the Austra Tree holds several beneficial meanings. It encourages personal growth, resilience, and groundedness, reminding one to stay rooted while aspiring higher. As a symbol of prosperity, it draws in blessings and abundance, helping those who embrace it to align with the natural cycles of renewal and transformation. Lighting a candle adorned with the Austra Tree symbol is believed to bring protection, balance, and clarity, enriching one’s space with these ancient energies and reinforcing a sense of purpose, security, and connectedness to the natural world
Hand Poured & Hand Finished
We craft all of our beeswax candles by hand. It takes an experienced hand to ensure each candle is perfect - we don't want any air bubbles, crooked wicks, or other imperfections. Each candle is inspected to ensure its quality. We have no "factory second" beeswax candles; if the candle doesn't make the grade, it goes right back into the wax melter.
